![]() Tell me if anybody is in favor of these 2 ideas and if anybody knows if they are just not feasible so I can shut up.
1. a all turf day program for t-breds followed up by harness meet immeidatley following last turf race. 2. even more fun a turf card mixed in with a harness card. Every other or every 2 harness their is a turf race! anybody like? |

![]() A mixed meet like that would have ALL of new york/new jersey at the Meadowlands, 15 races a day, 10 harness and 5 turf, that would be awesome. I can lose my money on more bad rides, breaking before the gate even starts and horses that are taught to run the exact opposite how it is suppose to run (pacing)

![]() Scav, not sure if you like the idea or not. Maybe not at the big M since their meets don't need much help, but how about some of the smaller tracks. For example, Indiana Downs, I believe they have a turf course and switch from t-bred to s-bred sometime in the summer. They could do it on the last day of the t-bred meet. I would play it because I think it would be fun to handicap a Maiden Turf - low-level trotting claimer DAILY DOUBLE! Of course I"m also the one always trying to lay some money down on the ostrich races!!!! LOL

I do think they're on to something with these all turf cards though. They underestimate how much people love grass racing. It's a shame there's only one more of these things. I loved it even though I got head-bobbed out of a $500 Pick 4 there today. |

![]() No way, I despise harnesss racing. Its like professional wrestling on wheels and gives all racing a black eye by association.
Mixing the two on a program would just lend people to think that tbred people find harness racing acceptable. Harness Racing, its a welfare game. |
