Default Officially on the Anti-Polytrack bandwagon

It is absolutely RIDICULOUS that they took those races off the turf today at Keeneland. LAST DAY of the meet until the following spring and they can't keep them. F that......F'n Polytrack

Tom,

Totally disagree.. Try telling that to the connections of Up an Octave who you may recall breaking down after the wire in a KEE spring stake on a VERY saturated grass course...

It's a safety precaution, not a turf preservation issue.

It rained hard the past two days and thru the night; really hard around 1 or so in the morning today. cleared up to be a nice day, but the ground is soaked in the backyard-was out at keeneland today, but didnt walk the turf course in stilletos(sp?) we had the rain the cancelled the world series in st. louis.

Id play Ellis anytime over KEE(I know, they dont run at the same time).

but I never thought I would say that about Ellis.

its now down to just Ellis and CD as the major racetracks in KY that have a legitimate main track.

lol,
nothing like handicapping, coming to some strong conclusions and then watching the ENTIRE field do a complete reversal of form.

Ive got no problem with being wrong, but when every horse in the race is making a distinct form change something is not right.
