![]() Full disclosure, I am all in with Dortmund. So if I bet him to win and he wins, then that's a nice payday by tripling or quadrupling my money (most likely).
But I'm greedy and want a bigger payout. My thought is to play him on top of every possible trifecta scenario, so if he does win, then I win the trifecta. So I have two questions. 1. What do i tell the person at the ticket window I want to do (short and sweet without holding up the line)? How much will that cost me on a minimal ticket? 2. Sticking with Dortmund as the winner, does anyone have a better wagering scenario to make more money oh him and what is it? Thank you in advance for your help. |

![]() To bet the trifecta, you tell the teller $(amount) trifecta, 8 over all over all. Just know that on a $.50 base ticket that the cost will be $171.00 and there are some combinations that may pay less than the bet.

Plus if he does win, this will be the last good odds on him for future races this year I think. |

I think that is good advice knickslion. It would be bittersweet to have him win and not win money. I might do a C Note on #8 to Win and $30 on Puca to win the Oaks today. These are Big Brown's kids and he won me over $1500.00 in 2008 so I might as well keep it in the family. |
