Talking Xpressbet $50K Preakness Big Bet winner? Our own fantini!

XPRESSBET’S $50K PREAKNESS BIG BET WINNER IS ED PETERS (fantini!)

New Hampshire-native Will Place $50,000 Win Bet on 138th Preakness Stakes

May 8, 2013 (Washington, PA) – Online wagering provider Xpressbet is thrilled to announce the winner of its $50K Preakness Big Bet Sweepstakes – Ed Peters of Pelham, New Hampshire. As the winner of the Sweepstakes, Peters receives a trip for two to this year’s Preakness Stakes to place a $50,000 Win wager on a horse of his choosing in the Preakness.

Peters, 42, has been an Xpressbet customer since 2007 and is a longtime racing fan. He was introduced to the sport when he accepted a position as a hotwalker at New Hampshire’s Rockingham Park, and was hooked soon thereafter. He has been an avid handicapper, fan and bettor for the past twenty-five years and he and his family make Saratoga an annual summer getaway. This year’s Preakness will be the first Triple Crown race he has ever attended.

“When Xpressbet notified me that I won the Sweepstakes, I was shocked and elated,” said Peters. “I can’t wait to walk through the gates at Pimlico and watch a race with as much historical significance as the Preakness in person. I’m definitely looking forward to handicapping the race and picking the right horse to put my $50,000 Win bet on. I can’t thank Xpressbet enough for this great opportunity.”

Xpressbet Vice President of Marketing, Kerry Carlson, added, “Ed’s exuberance put a smile on everyone’s face at Xpressbet. We couldn’t be happier for him, and we hope he enjoys the fun and excitement that the Preakness delivers each year. We’ve all got our fingers crossed that the horse he picks hits the wire first.”

Help Ed pick the Preakness winner by voting in Xpressbet’s Facebook Voting Poll beginning Thursday, May 14. To vote, please visit Xpressbet’s Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/xpressbet) and ‘Like’ the company to access the voting page.
