![]() SPONDULIX The frustration of this week was just the latest travail of the season with the grey gelding and he shipped down to Virginia Thursday for a 75-90 day winter break. Wednesday when the race came off the turf, the racing office couldn't say if the Saturday grass race was going to be used and even if it was included, there would be no guarantee it stayed on the turf. So of course, two hours after the decision was made to go ahead and run on the main track, the Saturday overnight includes the Saturday MSW. And the turf is listed as good and all 3 of today's grass events are staying on. Simply maddening..
CORYBANT Is still with Woody on the farm in Virginia and is still having occasional gate issues but doing great otherwise. Wood completely started fresh with him in terms of the gate and while he will always be a difficult ride -- a trait common to Johannesberg get -- he is close to returning to Belmont to get going during the winter.. MY PAL OF PALS Recovering nicely from the knee chip removal and is being walked. Should be back in full training by January.. TOY CANNON Back in Ocala after twice being treated for the splint and rehabbing at Fair Hill. Should be ready to come back as a 4yo in spring.. AUSABLE CHASM Fresh from a 2/1-0-1 fall at Finger Lakes, the sturdy filly is done for '12. A decision needs to be made whether to run her as a 5yo, get her into a second career or potentially breed her.. ONE REVOLUTION The Langfuhr 2yo was close to going to Chuck in New Jersey but strained a muscle in her right shoulder and needs 2-3 weeks. Should be ready to debut by the 1st of the year..
