Default Godolphin in Brazil

This week Godolphin bought 2 of the best brazilian horses in training:

Tudo Azul - 2yo brazilian colt of the year - winner of the 1st leg of São Paulo state's quadruple crown (the other legs will be ran yet) - winner of 4 of 5 start, including 2 G1, a G2 and a Listed race; and

Dono da Raia - 3yo brazilian colt of the year, horse of the year and long distance-runner of the year - winner of 5 of 9 starts (3 2nd places), including the 2 most important brazilian races: GP São Paulo (G1) and GP Brasil (G1) in his 2 last starts.

Unfortunately brazilian horses are being exported earlier than ever...

Bad for us....good for you that will be able to see these 2 in actions....specially the sencond one, Dono da Raia....this horse is impressive...what a late kick...the best brazilian horse since Quari Bravo in my opinion.

There must be a great deal of satisfaction in being overwhelmingly wealthy and paying exorbitant sums of money for any horse you want, anywhere in the world.

It must be so exciting to see these purchases, Henny Hughes, Elocutionist and Discreet Cat among them, become the stars of the stable, eclipsing the ones they have bred. But hey, if you have enough money, I guess you can be " successful " at anything.

Sheik Mohammed must have TiVo cause he has a horse running every hour it seems like worldwide and would never get any sleep if he watched them all run live. Seems like a good problem to have!
