![]() Great story..
http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/St...512/story.html LONDON - A stable lad working for one England's leading trainers has won £1 million (1.2 million euros, $1.6 million) in a betting coup as a result of his boss's success at the Cheltenham Festival. Several months before the ongoing Cheltenham Festival in southwest England, it is understood Murphy placed a £50 bet on Sprinter Sacre, Simonsig, Bobs Worth, Finian's Rainbow and Riverside Theatre to all win their respective Festival races. Had his bet been placed on Monday, the day before Britain's premier jumps meeting started, it is estimated Murphy's winnings would have been a rather more modest £32,050. But because he made his wager in December, the odds would have been far greater, with David Williams of leading bookmaker Ladbrokes reckoning on an accumulated figure of a massive 259,895/1 - in other words a bet of £1 to win £259,895.

![]() To win a pick 5 on any given day is hard enough but to place it months in advance and winning a million deserves props. I bet the Phantom will have to outdo that with photoshop.
