As I recall, she likes to run up front, same as Take d'Tour. Think they'll kill each other off?

I think Summerly and Poolman may regress off their last efforts.
Take D Tour cant win w/o an easy lead.
Miss Shop is a logical alternative to these 3, although will likely be overbet. Anything 6/1 or higher is a reason to bet Miss Shop. If shes lower than its a watch race.

Today's card is a real pooper.

I like the 14. Good luck Hooves.
The 2 may take some beating if Luzzi stays out of trouble.

I like Mott, horse was behind a slow pace on a speed biased grass course last out.
Bad post but good horse. She definitely hits the board at a square price.

At 5/1, considering I am in the toilet today, I guess I have to take Miss Shop and roll the dice. Its the last good betting opp I see today. Win only.

Thanks Hooves. I think you have the "logical one" out of the big 3.

I would guess that this will be Summerly's last race. She's not the same filly that she used to be. When she came back off the layoff with front wraps, you knew that there was a problem. She's a Grade I winner so I don't think they're going to mess around with her any more. I would be shocked if she ever runs again.

I saw that Tim. Sorry she didn't get there. (Miss Shop).
When I saw that Summerly had front wraps, I canceled my bet. I guess she's done.
I just watched today.
Sometimes I just have to sit back and not try to make chicken soup out of chicken s hit.
There will be other, better races.

Down,

Smart man, the wraps are always a nice giveaway. Plus her figs were slow anyway. Didn't like the race as the top 2 figured and those prices couldn't get the blood pumping.

She had front wraps last time too and managed to win. But that was a much easier spot where she got an easy lead in :49. Not only that but sometimes when a horse has an injury, they can hold the horse together as long as the horse doesn't have to run hard. After they run hard, they will often fall apart. I think the same thing happened with Flower Alley. Whatever problem he had didn't get really bad until he actually ran. Before his first race back, he was probably holding up reasonably well under light training. But after he had to run hard in that first race back, his injury probably got worse.

You make a very good point.
Seems to me, many good ones run with their pain. Not so much with 2yo's unless they're run too many times.
After that, it's up to the trainer and his vet to hold the horse together long enough to cash a few checks for the owners, before they fall apart...or worse.
So many run through their pain.
The ones that can give you a casher.
The ones that don't give you a heart ache.
Just my two cents.

I will be shocked if she ever runs again. I'd lay at least 5-1 against it.
