Default Equibase- Their new website

I think their new design & look is great and will be well appreciated by us who look forward to perusing the upcoming weekend's entries 2 days ahead of time, not to mention reflecting back upon a chart you had a wonderful score on!

Now NYRA really needs to address their lousy website. They do a great job at getting the best horses on to their tracks and offering up competitive betting cards all year long. But their website is the absolute pitts. Not updated, terrible design and most of the time slow and awkward to use.

Blackthroat, perhaps you can address this issue with the powers to be?

And while you're at it ... perhaps you can address these two small items in time for the next Saratoga meet ...

1. The paddock viewing area ... the one immediately in front of the all the betting windows and to the right of the pathway used by some of the owners and trainers to enter the paddock ... desperately needs a marked path from it's entrance to the paddock rail. People squat in there willy-nilly with their chairs, blankets, and coolers ... making every effort to get to the paddock railing the equivalent of a human hurdles race. A stone path would demark an area for pedestrians ... and make the enitre area much safer and more conducive to use for paddock viewing.

2. The distortions to attendance records caused by "spinners" can be ended ... simply by offering T-shirts for outright purchase to anyone who has an entry voucher. A limit can be placed on the purchases ... say 10 T-shirts for $30 ... and that would virtualy erase the "spinner" problem ... and provide a more accurate attendance count.

Very small matters ... but things which have caught my attention.
