Default Sign of good things to come

Oklahoma training track opens either this Friday or Saturday depending on the crews completing a few projects....man it has been a long hard winter in upstate this year and this is a much welcomed sign...coffee on the rail is going to be a welcome sight this weekend.

I thought that spring got to Maine in mid-June and ended on opening day of Saratoga. By the Travers they are looking at a frozen tundra.

I'm in southern Maine. It's like a different state.

It's not really spring here, but it was the first day it really felt like not Winter.

Sun, without that cool crispness in the air.

Girls in shorts.

Twelve year olds pushing their granddaughters in strollers, etc.

No spring peepers yet though.
