![]() Only a single workout since the Whitney - and it came Sunday. I guess he's supposed to make his final BC prep at Monmouth this week after a fever caused him to miss other spots he was rumored to be considering.
Around this time every year - you see a lot of horses press to make the Breeders Cup and the result and ROI of these type of horses is often lousy. Just on Saturday at Belmont alone... * Snapshot was dead last at a surprising 7/2 in the Vosburgh despite not running since early July * Never on Sunday was 6th at a well bet 5/1 in the Joe Hirsch despite not running since March * Rail Trip - despite the trainer change to Dutrow - only managed to beat a single horse at 7/2 odds despite suffering setbacks in his training. I guess Lookin At Lucky - who couldn't have been any less impressive this weekend in the Indiana Derby - also had to overcome a reported fever. However, his fever came a day after the Haskell - and he had four very strong workouts in September going into his 2/5 stakes score at Hoosier Park. |

![]() I'm excited to watch him - but I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole from a betting standpoint - until he proves he's ok.

![]() If all is well with him, would you like to see him in the BC mile or the Classic?

![]() I think he'd have a better shot of winning the Dirt Mile if all is well ... but I want him in the Classic. I loved his race in the Whitney and I think he will be totally ignored in the betting and can certainly get a piece.
