![]() It wasn't too long ago that I had a longshot dead heat with a winner in New York. I was excited because the horse that he dead heated with interfered with another horse and would come down giving me a nice win.
They flashed the numbers forever and then placed both the winner and my horse behind the horse that was interfered with. My long shot had done nothing wrong yet they awarded the offended party 1st. They placed him in front of the DQ'ed horse and left my horse in a dead heat with him. I thought it was bs. Only the perp should have been placed behind the other. Yes? Well yesterday's 10th at Montmouth was just unbelievable. #4 The Flying Whizzer was all over the track. He cut off the favorite #7 Powhatan County with a malicious swerve to the right. before #7 could work a trip around the swimmer #5 Pluck crashes into both #4 and #7. In the meantime #3 Rustler Hustler went to the inside on his way to a win. There was a stewards inquiry and a jockey's objection. Eibar Coa had claimed foul against both #4 & #5. As both had interfered. And both had dead heated for the place money. Then by NY steward logic since #7 was definately interfered with by at least one of them, he should have been awarded place money because a horse that interfered got place. TVG guys thought we were looking at a double disqualification. Both horses did interfere with the favorite after all. ![]() Nope they only moved #5 behind him. I doubt that they consistantly rule that way. Maybe they just hate Coa. (and me) I can handle getting beat but when you have rules being every which way. ![]() I'm on break. I won't be back until the Breeder's Cup
