Default Loaded Baby Race, Saratoga Thursday R5

5 Furlongs | Fillies | 2 Year Olds Maiden Special Weight | Purse: $50,000

Post # Horse Jockey Weight Claim Price Equip. Med.
1 Maple Forest Cohen D 119 FTL
2 Inflation Hedge Gomez G K 119 FTL
3 Cedar Grove Castellano J J 119 FTL
4 Deja Blu Leparoux J R 119 FTL
5 Elusive Raven Velazquez J R 119 FTL
6 Upper East Sider Prado E S 119
7 Simply Delightful Bridgmohan S X 119 FTL
8 Playing Pirates Borel C H 119 L
9 Arabian Song Garcia Alan 119 FTL
10 Thatagirl Maragh R 119 FTL
AE Maria's Luck Dominguez R A 119 L
AE Cabriole Bridgmohan S X 119 FTL

Lets start with the Rick V, I hear this horse cant lose. That is also the biggest price I have saw for a Klervich. Gomez rides and not Alan? Alan rides for Harty, is the Harty live? The Mott, who might have the best work is a half to Santa Catarina. Todds horse last work was huge and she is a half to Winslow Homer. The Assmussen is a Speightstown half to Hot Dixie Chick, the race is loaded. Not to mention Lukas brings back the chalk from the opening day baby race... I dont think she has any chance in here, but she was still well bet and has speed.

Rainman might be able to answer this, but who are Harty's best debuting juveniles?

Last 5 years----

Scorpius 2/9/07 at Gulfstream won first out w/ a 93 beyer. Defeated Hunting and Grand Champion who both went on to have better careers.

Changing Weather 8/25/05 at Saratoga won first out w/ a 90 beyer. He is running in bottom level 4k claimers currently in the midwest.

Noblewoman 4/2/06 at Gulfstream won first out w/ a 91 beyer. Ran once more was 3/5 and did not run a step.

Coronet of a Baron 7/6/08 at Arlington won first out w/ a 81 beyer. After that he ran very well in 3 straight "big" races, before tailing off.

Beholden 8/18/05 at Saratoga won first out w/ a 84 beyer. This one like almost all of the above cost a lot, but this one really sticks out 700k for a Cat Theif. This one ran 5 more times with 1 win coming by a neck at Gulfstream and 2 bombs in Stakes races, one at Lone Star at odds of 2-1.

Incriminate 8/26/06 at Saratoga won first out w/ a 88 beyer. Ends up 3/13 lifetime with the other 2 wins coming on turf.

I never realized what a disaster Harty is.

I didn't think he had many and a few of those above were 3.

I read your posts, but I did a bit of research this morning and he is even worse then you make him out to be. He pops first out SOMETIMES, they are always bet hard, so there is no secret, you can take to the bank that horse wont run back good and will almost 100% be out of his barn within a year or be retired after several miserable efforts.

Desert Party won nicely first out, and luckily escaped Harty's barn before permanently being ruined.

He also had a super nice IC filly a few years back named Imperial Reign. Only had the two starts.

He had some stunningly stupid things to say about her shortly before her retirement. I wish I remember them. Maybe DrugS does. These were on the order of Declan's Moon comment retardedness.

Yeah. I don't know how I could have conveyed how bad he is anymore than I did.

Nm I got her... $1,000,000 Indian Charlie. 2 starts at Toga 2-1 second, and 4-5 easy win. The 2,3 finishers of her maiden win were both OK.
