Default Vote for the greatest female since 1960 in Jay Hovdey's blog

http://hovdeyblog.drf.com/hovdeyblog/Zenyatta is winning this poll by a very wide margin...

I recommend voting for Ruffian instead! She is only losing by 40 votes or so and has the best chance of winning besides Zenyatta. Supposedly the results will be published in DRF Weekend.

The results of this poll, to date, make me sad.

Yes, seriously sad. C'mon, YouTube exists, one can not only read about great fillies and mares, you can watch their races.

The poll is comedy hour. 1995 Inside Informations campaign, how many times does Rachel or Z beat her that year? This poll is CRAP.

I'd vote for Charlize Theron as the greatest female since 1960.

Not upset, rather thinking, "Seriously, race fans?"

It's like whenever there's a poll with Zenyatta in it, fans rush to vote for her because 'gosh darn it, she didn't win HOY but she's gonna with this.' Seriously. Historical perspective, people. People who didn't even see a lot of the horses encompassed by this time frame act like they know because how could anybody possibly be better than Zenyatta? Youtube, for crying out loud.

but, she's unbeaten. that's gotta mean she's the best rachorse evar. i mean, like tvg said, even secretariat and man o'war lost a few.

Saratoga Six was unbeaten too, and nobody gives that horse love anymore.

Same with Landaluce. I could only imagine a Landaluce vs Z race.

A healthy Landaluce at 2 probably beats Zenyatta at 5 at 9f or less.

I see it has a place for comments, but apparently they are not taking any. I placed a comment on there, five minutes later gone.

This really made me laugh! Your funny Charlie. I also had a good laugh when someone said of Spectacular Bid "What other horse can say that" and you said Mr. Ed Thanks for laughs

Hey Letswaste money. Just wanted to let you know I really liked your Poster for the Zenyatta/Quality Road Movie

Also your user name reminds me of something kind of funny that I said at the track one day. I was at Santa Anita betting the horses and I was having a terrible day. Every horse I bet to win came in second! One even got DQ'd from first and placed second!

It was just one of those days where I couldn't catch a break! While waiting to place my bet on the 5th this guy came up and said, "Hey. How are you betting in the 5th." Since I kept losing I told him, "I'm betting $20 to lose on 6". We both had a good laugh on that one.

I forgot about that incident and when I read your name it came back to me and made me smile I like your name and I feel the pain of where it's coming from.

Yes I did intend my user name to be ironically funny. I've lived up to this name more than I would have liked though...lol

I use letswastemoney for every online contest I enter and I think it would be ironic if I ever won something using this name.
