![]() I went to Laurel today and purchased a racing form. I was betting Laurel live and Saratoga. As I was sitting in front of the TVs I happened to look up and notice that in the 5th race at Woodbine, a turf race, the 1 horse, Anne's Beauty was sired by Artie Schiller. They were posting all the sires of the horses in the race on TV as they came out on the track. I've been waiting to see Artie Schiller's babies run. This was the first one I've seen. Artie's first year babies are now three. I think Artie is going to be a solid turf sire. I really wanted to bet this horse but wanted to at least look at the form first. I was going to bet $20 to show on her. She was 20-1.
I looked down at my racing form and turned to Woodbine's 5th race. I looked at the 1 horse and the sire was not Artie Schiller. The name of the horse was not even Anne's Beauty. I figured I must be going crazy. So by this time they were showing the 7 horse on TV and her name didn't match the 7 horse on the form either. I looked at the top of the form for Woodbine and noticed they put Friday's card for Woodbine in Saturday's racing form. What the f... ![]() I never did bet the $20.00 to show on the 1 since I couldn't even look at any PPs. Sure enough, Anne's Beauty came in 3rd and paid $10.70 to show. ![]() Has anyone else ever have this happen with a racing form? |
