Default Meanest Horse Ever?

From DRF.com: "Trainer Pete Eurton is slowly recovering from a frightening incident last week in which a horse he trained attacked him, savagely biting him around the waist during a schooling session gone awry at the starting gate."

Cost him his nuts.. (Not Peter..the horse.) Lucky that's all it cost him.

Glad to hear Peter's going to be o.k.

i read about this the other day, sounded pretty bad. scary to boot.

but i'm thinking the meanest ever was probably that stallion in california. he savaged the lady walking him back to this stall right after a breeding session. it was his second attack on a person, and cost him his life. he knocked her down, and then was on his knees trying to take bites out of her back. luckily, someone heard her screaming.

Speaking of genitalia, I believe the Moss's Big Cap winner Ruhlmann bit off a groom's penis in a tragic turn of events.

It was in international waters, so he couldn't be prosecuted.

I gathered from Baffert's various remarks that War Emblem was pretty mean.

Wow. Brave gate crew. Glad he's going to be okay.

That was the well-bred Corslew.

I'm glad Pete is ok. This is scary stuff. When a horse turns like that it's frightening as all heck. I've seen it happen and I was lucky enough to get out of the way of one myself years ago. I know someone that lost a few fingers to a horse.

When I read this part I had to crack a smile....As for Silent Affair, "he was castrated an hour later," Eurton said. I'm just smiling about what the call to that vet must have sounded like.

The first part is supposedly true.

The second part is a line from "Step Brothers".

I think they said that when the outriders finally caught the horse that he tried to attack them too. That is a seriously mean horse.

I think Sportin Life, the sire of Bet Twice, killed someone. I don't remember the details.

Didn't John Henry kill, or almost kill someone at a young age?

The Sportin Life story was something about his exercise rider being found dead laying on the track. I don't think anyone witnessed what actually happened. I read something about it recently, I think the son of the rider is a trainer now or something like that.
