To go on one of these pointless globetrotting - hiking the world adventures.

People are always on my case about how I never leave the friendly confines of the West 26th ghetto unless it involves taking a right, going past the Erie Zoo and heading into the boondocks for 3 miles till I get to PID.

My step father tried to set me up with an old high school friend who was going to spend a few months with a friend of his I didn't know, and they would be hiking all over arab countries like Jordan, Turkey, and whatever the hell the rest of them are called.

I pretended to be slightly interested right up to the point that I found out that my old friends friend's last name is Goldstein. Sorry, but there's no way in hell I'm hiking Muslim land with a dude named Goldstein. That's like just begging to be beheaded and stuff.

Anyway. It appears both my old high school friend and Goldstein survived the journey through Islam. Here are pics of some of the splendid stuff I missed out on.
