I know US turf horses pretty much suck, but is cracking 100 in G1/G2 races really that hard these days?

Anyone know the figure from today's 2nd at Delaware...Hamazing Destiny showed the brilliance that he shows from time to time at the Allowance/Listed Stake level today running 6F in 1:08.4 at Delaware today hammering allowance foes, but he can never seem to get it done against top stake company. Any beyer for this race? The 2nd fastest 6F time of the day was 1:10.1.

Big Drama seems to be the leader based on the fact that the others have questions, Discreetly Mine (being a 3YO) and so forth with Here Comes Ben arguably 2nd after his win in the Forego and such. Maybe he'll never make that next step based on his past.

Would you stop. If he wasn't trained by Wayne you wouldn't pay him any mind. And rightfully so.

The highlight of that race was watching Alejandro Reyes run his training record to 0-for-145 on the year after Prince Joshua finished last. PJ went off at 18/1 odds but was trading at 90/1.

Meanwhile - from the trainer with the worst stuff around to the trainer with perhaps the best stuff - the great Juan Carlos Guerrero's 2nd off the claim romper Rather was trading heavily at 2/5 and 1/2 today .. he ended up paying $3.20 to win and $3.20 place.

It looked like someone might have pulled the old dog track move in that race ... JC Guerrero's horse was hammered in the win and place pool early .. and drifted quickly from 1/9 - to 1/5 - to 3/5 during the race. A possible case of a bettor pumping in strong win/place action on the horse early to inflate the odds of all other runners ... and cancelling a good bit of the action during the loading process.

If he wasn't trained by Lukas he might be there already at that level and he might have run back to his debut if he was still with Robertson.

Never is a strong word. If it were not for his trainer he would get more respect.
