![]() a 9 point proposal to preserve the best of Saratoga needs formal adoption. the COncerned Citizens have hammered through 7 points. 2 more need to be in the RFP.

![]() wow....pretty brutal there..
"And at Gulfstream? Double that," Campbell said. "They have taken a pleasant, delightful place to go in good weather and enjoy the races and turned it into a smoke-filled gambling joint. That's a little strong, but I think that's right."— |

![]() as long as they don't start screwing around with the holy grail of horse racing (Tampa Bay Downs...as if you really had to ask), then GPK will be juuuuust fine

![]() the truth is coming out. Tracy Farmer and Cot Campbell are saying that Saratoga, as a comprehensive training and racing facility is at risk. here's what they see.
some bidders want to keep the track as it is to appease the public. BUT they want to nuke Oklahoma and "develop" (destroy is more appropriate) or sell that prime real estate ala Magna. that's why the 2 points have not been adopted in the RFP. is there backroom dealings going on that lead to the NYS committee NOT including the 2 missing points in their RFP so that Oklahoma can be sacrificed ? looks like it. if you care about Saratoga, and it isn't just the track but Oklahoma and the stalls too, make sure ALL 9 POINTS are legally adopted and binding in the RFP.
