under appreciated for his musicianship.
he essentially invents solid body electric guitars and then applies multi-track data recording to music recording. freaking brilliant guy. AND he's a guitarist's guitarist? life is so unfair.

I remember when I was introduced to Les Paul. It was that Great White classic Once Bitten Twice Shy.
