![]() I was reading with interest this week the story about how and why NYRA shut down Nassau OTB from their video streaming on their web site for their account holders for non payment of signal rights.
I was wondering why if Twin Spires, TVG, Bris and others carry the NYRA feed on their web based betting accounts...WHY does NYRA not carry the video on their own betting NYRA One site? Steve can you ask somebody maybe BTW or Jason Blewit (sp?) who are employed by NYRA why they don't offer it or are they planning on offering in the future, just as they recently added the NYRA One feature on our blackberry pda's. With all the time away from home and office that many of us spend, I would love to hear/see Andy and Jason prerace analysis and commentary throughout the card as well as watch the races on my laptop while on the road instead of playing blindly!

![]() The six OTB's ( Capital, Western, Catskill, NYC, Nassau, Suffolk) are the reason for the blackout of video and audio. Big campaign donors are on the board of the NYSRWB and OTB's provide political patronage. OTB is a bloated pig of a government agency and they pushed for the ban of video and audio.
You can contact your state senator or assemblyman and state your case. |
