I kind of feel lost when the track is this sloppy. I can't figure out if the races play out so differently that they're impossible to handicap, or if nothing is really changing and I'm just overthinking every little thing. I felt pretty good about Fireball Jack, though. That'll keep me around for the ninth, anyway. That's like the track's equivalent of a free drink at the blackjack table.
