Its been a while, actually April at Keeneland but you showed them who's boss today! Thats why I LOVE this sport, I've lost more on this horse then won, but today made it all worthwhile! Longest shot on the board at post time!

Yep, Presidental Cause, a Giants Causeway that Richard Mandella had. I just loved the big ole "short bus riding" horse.

He got claimed and is now running at Turf Paradise for something like $ 5k. There seems to be a pattern with me liking the ones alittle ..... shall we say, special. Everyone of the Mandella horses I really like all turn out that way.lol 'Course I might just be drawn to my own kind!

I actually liked this one too and thought of you when I saw that he won today.

Oh yes I did !! It may be Turf Paradise,but a win is a win, dang it!

Another Mandella one I love is "Booted" and he is finally coming around. I really thought he would make some noise on the Derby trail, but better late than never. He has one his first 2 races back and is running this weekend in a stake at Santa Anita.Jumping up in class, but I think he can do it!
