Default SAnta Anita Sunday question

Anyone who was playing Santa Anita know when Solo Piano was scratched from the final race? Was he a late vet scratch, or Frankel being Frankel?

I made a couple of late pick 4 bets early in the card, and left to watch football.
He was still listed as running, so I used him as a single on one of my tickets.

I was 3 of 3 going into the final leg, and liked the horse who ended up winning (at 3-1) a lot more than the Sheriffs horse who the public made the 5-2 favorite (and who I and I assume a lot of people inherited if you used Solo Piano as a single).

I assume a lot of other people were screwed by this too, since the pick 4 payed a hefty $1200 for a fairly predictable sequence.

I did not get the Shirreffs horse coming off two staright odds on perfect trip losses and now a layoff. I bet against the horse and ran second.

But a better question is you dont have the public favorite right, it was Mosaic for Mark Casse/Melnyk.
