![]() Hello all, a long time handicapper from kentucky and have been listening to Steve for about a year and finally decided I could no loger keep my mouth shut. But, before I begin to start spewing racing form cliches' let me ask a question. What is the name of the handicapping book Steve recommends so heartily? My son is at the University of Kentucky and has somehow discovered Keeneland. An aside to that is: if you are a young man, you have never experienced something like Keenelands Fall meet on a Saturday. Gorgeous co-eds by the hundred count, absolutely incredible. Oh yeah, back on course,, any know?
Thanks and hello again |

Sorry to be slow responding... Welcome. Indeed, "Betting Thoroughbreds" by Steve Davidowitz is my favorite and the book I feel has the most to offer the widest array of horseplayers from neophyte to pretty-experienced. I go back to it often. Beyer's work is of course invaluable as well (The Winning Horseplayer; Beyer on Speed; Picking Winners; My $50,000 Year at the Races), and Steve Crist's Exotic Betting has joined the elite of handicapping volumes as well. And then there are the legions of posts offered by the insightful here! Enjoy... Thanks for coming forward!
