Midshipman to Dubai, thinking Derby
By Steve Andersen http://www.drf.com/news/article/99729.html INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Midshipman, the winner of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, was recently sent from California to Kentucky to begin a quarantine process that will lead to him being shipped to Dubai this winter, trainer Bob Baffert said. "I've talked to Sheikh Mohammed and he's told me that's how he wants to do it," Baffert said. "I understand where he's coming from. I can't blame him for doing it. He has such a passion for these horses. There's nothing like being able to go and look at your horses every day."
