"John McCain sat on the board of...the U.S. Council for World Freedom," Good morning Honu! He wasn't 8 years old, either.. Sat on the board! Honu, as a lesbian, the Republican party has no use for you. McCain would if you were bisexual and you were willing, otherwise many of the people you seem to back would like to see you burn in hell for eternity. They cloak this in their distorted biblical references, but it's their own wishes, not that of Jesus From Wiki: The U.S. chapter of WACL, the United States Council for World Freedom (USWCF), has been one of the most active branches. USCWF was founded in 1981 by Major General John K. Singlaub. This branch has generated controversy, as it has been found to have illegally supplied firearms to guerillas in the Iran-Contra Affair and, in 1981, the USCWF was placed under watch by the Anti-Defamation League, which noted the organization had increasingly become a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites.[1] Last edited by Mike : 10-07-2008 at 07:57 AM. |

Mike thanks for the information I read the article , but couldnt get the sound for the videos. Here is the thing that I think you are not getting with my being a Republican , I believe in conservatism , the fundamentals of the party , and even though in the last 8 years our president who is a Republican has strayed very far away from key things that make us diffirent from Liberals , I still hold hope that John McCain can get back to party fundementals. My sexuality has nothing to do with my politics and Im sure McCain doesnt give a **** who I sleep with , I dont care what the Right -Wing radicals say or do , I can still live my life to the fullest. I have never had a desire to be married even when I was dating boys , so it really is a non-issue with me. Mr Obama hasnt done anything but talk , give good speeches and smile pretty ....his record in the Senate is proof in the pudding because if you look he has done ZERO. He has never had a leadership position , ever , the most involved in politics before he got elected to the Senate was helping register people to vote on behalf of Clinton. It is sad to read that John McCain was in an organization, even if it was in name only, that had ties to persecuting anyone. Im sure he regrets that mistake alot . You have the right to vote for whom you see most fit to protect your freedom and this countries as do I and Mr Obama wont be getting my vote in Nov.

![]() I think a problem I might have is separating mainstream Republicans with right-wing extremists. I'm way to the left of mainstream Dems, I guess, so I'll try to give a chance to all who aren't outside the middle ground area
If I go a bit more to the Left, I 'll start to come back around the circle toward Republican conservatism. I really like Ron Paul's message quite a bit, just don't think he's the right message carrier. |

I liked John McCain when I lived in Arizona , the reason I liked him was because no matter what, weather it was what his party thought was right, or not he stood by what he believed. He is right on about lowering corporate taxes as we are the 8th highest charging nation in the world and some of our European friends have wised up to this and lowered their corporate taxes. Corporations will never just eat more taxes , they will pass it on to you and I or they will just leave this country and takes the jobs with them and make their products somewhere else. Im all for change also because the last eight years have been really screwed up but I really feel that Obama is not the man who is going to bring about the change I want.

and what about this: But perhaps the most revealing of McCain's flip-flops was his promise, made at the beginning of the year, that he would "raise the level of political dialogue in America." McCain pledged he would "treat my opponents with respect and demand that they treat me with respect." apparently that is now off, as the 'gloves are off' according to him. he's unleashed his attack pit bull--apparently she took off her lipstick...the last acts of a desperate man i guess. and if you think mccain will bring about whatever change you're seeking, i would have to say that you'll be a long time waiting. i don't think obama is ready, but i think mccains time has come and gone. and i sure don't think palin is ready to take over if necessary. i told my husband that a lot hinged on who mccain would choose for his running mate. he BLEW IT. he chose a pol with as little experience as his opposition. that argument of not being ready no longer flies. actions speak louder than words do, and mccain blew it with his choice. he chose someone who is as much a neophyte politically, if not more so, than obama. obama, regardless of what you might think of his career, has been groomed for this run for several years now, while palin is a new born babe. and it shows. i'm not happy with either ticket. but i think i've made my choice.
