Default 4NJbets.com?

Since I live in the communist state of NJ and I cannot sign up for Xpressbet ,was just wondering if anyone used or uses 4Njbets.com. Experiences? pos/neg. I am tired of having to drive to philly to make a bet.

thanks!

Pros - Video is included if you spend like $250 a year...up until just recently, excellent track coverage...they are currently not accepting wagers from NYRA

Cons - Breeders Cup last year, the system crashed...it was nearly impossible to make a bet...they have upgraded the system since...recently on Blue Grass Saturday there was a supposed lightning strike that shut the system down for the day...

I have both 4njbets and nycotb...i rarely use the 4njbets except to watch the races if i am not able to see it on tvg...much prefer to make bets on nycotb, but if you don't have any options, it is what it is

I have used it and don't have any complaints except for the ones mentioned above. Apparently a thunderstorm strike stopped betting for most of the day. Eventually I was able to get some bets in by the middle of the card for the Bluegrass card. Breeders Cup day was hectic. The site was very slow. It might have been since the site was fairly new at the time and they had kinks to iron out. This week for the Derby I had no trouble. The only exception was I had to call customer service and point out they didnt have a betting option for the Oaks/ Derby double which they corrected quickly. Finally even though I havent used it much, you can bet over the phone as well. The number apparently works out of Jersey as well since I havemade bets over the phone while in N.Y.

If you live in South Jersey.. there is a OTB right in Vineland , I used to have to drive to Atlantic City or Philly to make a bet...

It serves the purpose. It seems that they are always trying to update it and make it better. I do sometimes have trouble with the video freezing up. As far as favorites goes, I was blown away with how nice it is. I am used to those scummy NYC OTB's and this place reminded of a Vegas race book. (by the way the chicken wings were awesome!)

I use it and 100 agree with Pletch... I was VERY FRUSTRATED BC and the Lexington day. Everything was fine for Derby Day. Nice easy to use interface and tracking of wagers... Video usually ok but sometimes choppy... Easy to get money out and they pay off Full trakc odds, regardless of the size of the hit which is something that Offshores do not do. Would love to have rebates but won't see it in my lifetime.
