#12 Viva Pataca (GB) - Another G1 winner in Hong Kong and his RPR #'s have been super consistent at a top level.
#11 Spring House - Canani ships over with a runner that is peaking and Gomez comes along as well.
#2 Quijano (Ger) - Loves the distance 5 for 9 and local lawn 3 for 5.

R7 - Dubai World Cup

#12 Curlin - Looks to prove he's the best once again and love the fact that he came to the desert early for a prep race.
#8 Jalil - Godolphin's top contender looks to be running for 2nd place money.
#7 Vermilion (Jpn) - Has cashed in over $6 Mil and has a current streak of 4 G1's in a row from the Land of the Rising Sun.
#2 Well Armed - Definitely will pressure the pace and try to hold on for a share of the big pie.

Leg A - Laurel R10 - HE Johnson Memorial Handicap 80K

#2 Kaufy Big Shot - Merits choice based on nice win in last.
#5 Arcata - 3 for 4 going a route and J/T combo know where the winner's circle is located.
#4 Eddic C - Huge improvement since switching to the hot Grove barn with a pair of 92 BSF.

Leg B - Santa Anita - R4 - Clm 40K Turf

#7 Hit and Hope - Drysdale lethal off a long layoff (31%).
#9 Kingdom Come (Ire) - Very familiar with course which should help.
#4 Brooker - Must revert to last year's form to be a factor for the win.
#2 Seven Secrets - Has been competitive at this level and speed has been holding on the SA turf lately. Gate to wire?

Leg C - Gulfstream Park - R9 -G2 Bonnie Miss $150K

#7 Highest Class - Howard ships in with filly that should relish the distance and looks to be improving.
#1 Overandabeauty - Firing bullets in the mornings and Desormeaux will try and harness some of that speed.

Leg D - Santa Anita - R5 - San Miguel 75K

#3 Salute the Sarge - Multiple graded winner returns after disappointing BC Juvy effort. Looks capable off nice string of works.
#2 Sea of Pleasure - 1st time Mullins always a nice plus and his natural speed will put him in position.

Leg E - Gulfstream Park - R10 - G1 Florida Derby

#10 Majestic Warrior - Rough spot in '08 Debut and should improve off of that race. Has the back class to take this lucrative event at a price. Only drawback is the wide post once again.
#8 Elysium Fields - Obviously has shown an affinity for course and distance with a nice stop and go 2nd in the Fountain of Youth.

R7 - G3 Palm Beach

#8 Sporting Art - Solid effort in U.S. debut and he's a major player here with any improvement.
#3 Titan of Industry - Connections had a bit of Derby fever and tried him on the dirt which didn't work out. Back to his preferred surface.
#1 Celestail Comet - Nice win in last over this course and the added distance should help the cause.
#11 Run Sully Run - Beat top selection here in his 1st turf try, but must overcome wide post.

R9 -G2 Bonnie Miss $150K

#7 Highest Class - Howard ships in with filly that should relish the distance and looks to be improving.
#1 Overandabeauty - Firing bullets in the mornings and Desormeaux will try and harness some of that speed.
#4 Halo Hollie - Back to back wins at GP and the stretchout should not be a concern.
#3 Shes All Eltish - Castro stays here and she's also in very good form.

R10 - G1 Florida Derby

#3 Bullara - Looks to rebound after disappointing as the favorite in last.
#1 - Whichever entry runs must be respectedd.
#8 - Dynatonia - Has had minor success trying better, but a contender versus these.

R12 - Forever Whirl 75K

#2 Electrify - Draw a line through synthetic try and he was in razor sharp form to end the '07 year. I expect him to handle this bunch after a nice well deserved break.
