*** He was just 4th in the Stewards' Cup and I know the plan was to pre-enter in both but it'll be interesting to see what happens.

I've said for over a year Regency Horse would get a monster win..... wonder if this will be it or if anyone can beat Sacred Kingdom.

As an aside, on Medic Power..... the horse Prebble said he'd follow anywhere in the world.

Trainer D J Hall has advised the Stewards that ABSOLUTE CHAMPION developed some soreness in the left front leg last weekend, and as a result was not subjected to a fast track gallop as intended on Monday 21 January 2008. ABSOLUTE CHAMPION did work on the Large All Weather Track on Wednesday 23 January 2008.

This morning, at the direction of the Stewards, prior to declarations, ABSOLUTE CHAMPION was examined by Dr B D Stewart, Head of Veterinary Regulation & International Liaison. He advised ABSOLUTE CHAMPION was suitable to be declared to run in the Centenary Sprint Cup to be run at Sha Tin on Sunday 27 January 2008. Dr Stewart will continue to monitor ABSOLUTE CHAMPION in the lead up to this race.
