Default Ready's Echo

I missed a small segment of the show from Tuesday 9/18 when talk came up about a horse that came from out of the clouds in a 5.5 furlong MSW race at Saratoga.

Steve thought maybe The Roundhouse, but I know exactly who that caller was talking about.

Ready's Echo was about to get passed by the ambulance at the head of the stretch back on 8/8 at 'Toga, then came through the finish line like an absolute blur, running 2nd to Motts Z Humor.

This horse actually startled Durkin during his call, kind of funny.

Ready's Echo, trained by Pletcher, ridden that day by Johnny V, has no listed works or races since that day. I too am curious why no sightings of this horse.

I immediately watchlisted this horse and have been waiting patiently. Maybe with everyone getting off Pletcher at the moment, if this horse does appear sooner than later, might be a small overlay, who knows.

To quote Durkin that day, at the end of an ordinary race call to that point "WOOW, Ready's Echo from another county, up for second".

No exagerating here, had to have been 20 lengths from the lead turn for home. Incredible.

Just thought I'd share. It was Saratoga 8/8 Race #6. Worth watching.

He's getting ready for the soon-to-be-carded 2 furlong dirt for 3yos and up that I'm sure the BC folks are considering at this very moment. The Green Monkey's giddy with anticipation.

He must have been pretty knocked out after running for almost an entire furlong in his debut. Imagine what will happen to him if he's forced to compete for an entire race.

It would hardly have been news if he had been. Really, can't you just imagine the headline....." Maiden Also-Ran out indefinitely. "

wouldn't make bloodhorse page1, but still interesting to know.

If they just decided to give him time to develop and grow or if he was unsound.

Didn't he finish with like 3 furlongs in 33 after going ridiculously slow early?
