Default AQU: Pedigree/Sibs of interest (Sun. update)

Some interesting pedigree sidebars today at Aqueduct.. especially in the nightcap.

Tagg debuts KRISTI WITH A K, a half to Bit of Whimsey.. Mott's VIVACIOUS VIVIAN is a daughter of the famed Tuzla, the MGSW French miler who was just-miss 2nd in the '99 BC Mile to Silic.. SWEET VENDETTA hails from the David Cassidy dam that has already produced Love Cove and SW Half Heaven.. And for those that recall Len Leveen (I think), SHE CAN DANCE (Donk) is from the mare that produced his productive and popular runners Ham Sandwich; On Rye; With Mustard and To Go (Peg's Prayer too..)..

In the 6th, Debbie DeVitto's NEW YORK STYLE is unvieled, and she is a full to the SW Lauren's Tizzy.. Hushion's FINAL RESOLUTION is a full to the $250,000 earner Golden Damsel.. TOUGH NEGOTIATIONS from DeStefano, is a half to Ken Streicher's recent repeat winner True Rock and Roll.. And as a final note of interest, full sibs Fairway Drive (5th) and I Lost My Choo (9th) are on the same card.

One of the pleasures of horse racing is to review the pedigree of the runners. From the family of Ham Sandwich, a decent runner.

Race 1 Boss Tiffany (Commendable) is a 1/2 to black type Onceinabluemoon. Honeymooning is a 1/2 to black type Honneymooner. Shoot the Bugler has the "best" family.

A connection between race 6 Bully For Us and Race 7 Don't Knock America. 2nd dam of Bully For Us is the dam of DKA, Knocknock.

Couple of interest in this arena Sunday...

AQU 4th: #1 POSSESSIVE goes 2nd for Hennig and is a half to multiple graded stakes turf winner Old Forester.. Duke sends #3 MALKA off a 90 day break out of the former Phipps' mare Get Lucky who produced MGS winner Daydreaming and the solid SW Harborage.. #4 TEMBISA, a J'berg bay, was a $250k KEE buy and a half to Violette's MGSP Swingforthefences who I always thought was a nice, honest horse..

AQU 6th: Dennis Federico's 2/0-1-1 homebred LION'S MADDY is of course a full sister to his own Maddy's Lion who won the Winkfield..
