there's a nice article about him in the newest issue of bloodhorse, marking the 25th anniversary of his passing. he was a tremendous talent, i really liked that horse. he was my early derby hope that year. i didn't realize he was buried at belmont, he and ruffian are the only two to be buried there.

He was the first horse I ever saw breakdown in a race.....a sight that I'll never forget

it was awful. i saw the replay on espn, i didn't know the outcome of the race til then.
