Default Lukas - Barn of the month???

To be honest, I didn't follow racing that closely in the month of Aug. With that said, what did Lukas do in the month of Aug to earn the barn of the month award at Saratoga?

It is an award for Barn appearance and neatness not racing performance.

isn't Lukas known for his 'pretty barn'? I was told once that I could find his barn by looking for the most elaborate flower boxes....and that his prodigy was the same way.

It's really something to see... You want to talk about immaculate!! he used to hire people to just rake... not sure if that's in his budget anymore but back in the late 80's early 90's when he was still "somebody" he had help that thats all they did... Funny because seeing his barn always inspired me to keep ours that way. Seems that no matter whats in the stalls, if ya gotta a clean barn it seems to at leat make you look like you know what your doing.. lol..

I don't know about prodigy, but progeny certainly.
According to the latest stats I have seen he has sired 40% Clean-Barners....an amazingly high figure.
