We are also planning a boycott for the end of September to show them that we are united. Bet Albq and bet it hard on Saturday. http://www.paceadvantage.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=38970 The above thread at Pace Advantage talks about the boycott and procott Last edited by Scav : 08-22-2007 at 09:32 PM. |

![]() I tried to wade through the thread on the other site, rather unsuccessfully - just tell me, Scavs, can I use my Xpressbet or Youbet account to do this? Or do they get their cut and that's not good, etc?

NYRA can not control STATE law that mandates where customers may have ADW accounts. Most states limit / restrict account wagering it is not NYRA, Youbet, Brisbet or Expressbet it is the GREEDY state legislatures that are restricting what accounts you can and can't use. Ture there is infighting with the track signals / content but that doesn't necessarily impact who you can wager with. For example I think in NJ residents are only permitted to wager online using a NJ wgaering account, but you can pretty much place a wager on any race that has a simulcast agreement with the NJSEA. There are two issues here: 1. State law mandating what accounts residents may have, this could probably be overridden by a federal law unfortunately that is unlikely to happen. 2. The exclusivity agreements and fees paid for the tracks signals. This is want TVG, Tracknet and Youbet are fighting about.

It doesn't really matter which ADW you use for the purposes of this. Scav thinks that it would be counterproductive to use a service that is "part of the problem" because they get their cut anyway. I have accounts all over the place -- youbet, Bris, and PTC. I will be using the in a latter for this purpose. |

![]() have you guys ever thought about organizing your Procott to a single race and wager?
for example: If everyone involved wagered $20 on say the Trifecta in Race1 at Albq... 100 players would add $2,000 for that trifecta pool. You may get better actual participation with a moderate wager. Most importantly you could pin-point the Effect of your Procott. |

![]() I would think that if the organizers want to get the attention of the tracks than they should go after their wallets. I know that this would be very difficult to pull off but if it worked it would certainly get the attention of a tracks management.
My suggestion is to try and create a Minus pool at a Magna or Churchill downs track. By creating a minus pool the track woould suffer economically, the hard part would be selecting a race with a field that could almont guarantee a minus pool. I would obviosuly suggest making show wagers and if enough people had the correct winning tickets than the track would lose money and you would have the tracks attention. The problem is if the track knew in advance that this was happening then they would not offer show wagering, but in they case they also lose money as they do not get their take out. Just a thought I had, probably very difficult to pull off though.
