Unfortunate scratch makes for chalky pick 4

I handicapped the pick four at Saratoga thinking that -
while it is unfortunate that Ticket to Seattle scratched it was still going to be ok to bet a closer, Debbie Got Even because Feather Bed would make sure things wouldn't be easy for La Traviata. I never heard anything about Feather Bed being scratched didn't even notice it when I made my pick 4 bet.

The only way the pick 4 is worth betting is if you can get at least 1 horse home that isn't below 5-1 and the late scratch really irks me.
