Default Beyers for Travers Day

any guesses or facts.

I am certainly no expert on this, but my guesses are

B Baruch : 108
Kings Bishop: 104
Travers: 109
Victory Ride: 103

Your Travers was 100% right on. A 108. The BB can't be faster than a 104, it isn't listed right now and a 104 would have done that. Don't know about the others but the Victory Ride looks faster on paper than the Kings Bishop.

The King's Bishop and Travers both earned the same raw figure of 111.

It's very interesting that they decided to make the Travers five points faster than the King's Bishop, as it was the only two-turn dirt race on the entire card, and both the 1st and 2nd place finisher exited wins with identical 104 Beyers -- exactly five points higher than the figure they were given for the Travers. 3rd place also ran back to his numbers.

I had both races getting a 106.

I can understand why they choose to inflate the Travers figure a little - it being such an important race and all.

It would have been nice, if on a twelve race card, they'd have had at least one other two-turn dirt race.
