Default Ellis 10th

Anyone catch the last race

The winner a 2yo colt by Cherokee run went a full second quicker than the 40AOC boys at the same distance. He also looked green, broke behind the field and pulled Pompell out of the saddle turning for home

Was real impressive, was pulling Pompell out of the saddle making his move. Looked to switch back over late stretch and start jerking around. Green. Id say a pretty serious horse

Horse ran really well but I would cast a wary eye on the times at Ellis Park until next week when the regular timer is on duty. The time of the turf sprint allowance race is questionable considering they posted a very slow opening quarter that seems unlikely. Then in another race on the dirt the fractions were so far off they didn't bother posting them.

Do they still hand time at Ellis?
