A question about payoffs

I know there are differences in pools but I thought I hit a nice one and it turned out to be an ok one.

8 horse field at Calder's race 4. The 6-1 M/L #2 gets bet down to 5/2.
The 8-1 M/L #7 goes off at 25-1 and I forget the M/L of #1 but he goes off 81-1.

there were a 2-1, 3-1, 5-1, 6-1 and a 44-1 off the board.

I bet 2 w/7-8 w/ALL

it comes in 2/7/1 and I see 5/2 over 25-1 and 80-1 with 4 short price horses off the board.

The stupid trifecta only pays $1,400. Of course I only had half. That's all I ever play is $1

I honestly think it paid a lot less than it should. I mean 25-1 & 80-1

at Churchill it comes in 8-1, 5-2 and 55-1 and pays something around $2k
I know 8-1 but Everyone had humorous gal :-)
