Default Bustin Stones

I saw that Bustin Stones won today at BEL. Anyone see the race? Dominant performance?

Thought he looked really good last time.

Thanks

He looked very good. He was under some pressure early and won off as he pleased. 1:15 and change for 6 1/2. Nice looking colt, big for a City Zip.

Actually he wasn't really pressured, as the horse outside of him did not send, possibly because he feared the kind of duel that burned him last time. In some ways he was actually ridden for second. Once the first quarter was posted in just under 22 2/5 the race was over.

But, I agree, he is a nice horse.

Nice colt. He'll be brought along well by Bruce Levine, who has a great deal of experience with NY Breds, and City Zip's. More importantly, Levine is an excellent trainer and a very good horseman. He has had success in the past with NY Breds going on to win open company stakes.
