Default Tom Poston..RIP

Tom Poston of "Bob Newhart" fame has passed away at 85...Funny stuff for those old enough to remember. Also Tommy Newsome...Trumpeter on the old Carson shows....known as "Mr Excitement" passed also at 78.

When I see these icons of entertainment past away...I know I'm getting old.

That's so odd- I iwas just thinking about the final scene of "Newhart" and how it was one of the best endings to a series ever. First time I'd thought of the show in years.

Sad for their families, but how lovely to have spent their lives doing something they loved. Sometimes one just needs to celebrate the person's life, you know? They both had good runs.
