Advice On Syndicate Snafu

Just got off the phone with my betting partner and we are going to take our first stab tomorrow. I will not bore you with the details, just the problem I have incurred.

Is it really worth it? We are matching $50 on a pick 4 tomorrow and I am sitting here scratching my head as to whether this really is worth it. He wants to single a race and I don't think its a logical single, etc..

Maybe I am better off just making my own plays? I am on average a $50 to $70 bettor per week depending on the cash flow etc.. I hate to sink my budget into a ticket I am not confident in, although I respect his knowledge and capping skills.

How do you guys roll?
