Fair Grounds handle and attendance slightly down

I'd have to say it's been a really successful meet so far. Especially when you factor in the number of wet days they've had.

well with the strom last year. there is still alot of people gone from there.
so that will have something to do with attendance being down and i believe the otb handle was never really big for that track. with gulfstream and santa anita running along with oaklawn.

If they would have put in Poly Katrina wouldnt have harmed it. Fairgrounds could have ran through Katrina if Polytrack would have been down.

If they had poly they would have 17 horse fields like the Curragh, have multi million dollar handles, and run through hurricanes
