I thought that was a pretty nice performance today. Do the sheets and figures
Support the visual impression? If so, this could be a really nice horse next year. Thoughts? |

My thought is he is OK at best. I said not to toss him out totally in the Travers because everyone seemed so evenly matched, not because I loved him. He was right there in the turf race, pulled a dream trip and had nothing. So he certainly is not a turf horse. Todays effort, he beat no one, but did it the right way. The handicap division next year is very likely going to be a disaster and he might make some noise.

These days, that's good enough to be considered in the "upper echelon" of the Handicap division.

Just read this interesting quote and thought I'd share...
“This ain’t a good horse, this is a super horse,” Blusiewicz said Monday. “If I had the money, I’d run him in the [Breeders’ Cup] Classic. I’d dare somebody to beat him" http://www.drf.com/news/bribon-not-s...ers-cup-sprint |
