I heard an interview with Gammons today and when the question came up about the Mets next manager, he indeed said he thought it would be Bobby V. But I personally thought that he was just taking a guess and by no means did he sound certain about it.
It would be a good move for them, but me personally thinks Minaya is the guy who has to get the gate first.
