There are a few on EBAY already, but some of the money is going to charity.

Tickets? Tickets? This place holds over 100,000 people. Go get your bets in and walk into the infield for the day. Bring yourself a folding chair and a blanket. They'll have a couple big BBQ grills going and stands to sell beer. 1-800-Oaklawn or go online at www. oaklawn.com. Stay at the Baymont out on HWY 7 great views of the lake. If Hot Springs get booked up stay in either Glenwood. It's about 45 minutes from the track. Let me know if you need help in finding somewhere to stay or things to do.

i wanted a grandstand seat. see no point in going to be shoved into the infield. haven't tried in two hours. ebay a good option for me i guess.

So the Cella would have had what 10k on a Friday show up.. Now he will have 75k.. I have no idea what the handle typically is on a Friday at Oaklawn but he should make back a significant amount with the increased handle and gate. Good for him

I've been there on 65,000 plus days. Not really fun because of the long betting lines. Hell lines for everything will be long that Friday and Sat. Riverwood Inn in Glenwood still has rooms. 70 bucks a night in a quite little town. Also has a great golf course right across from it. Like I said me, Danzing, Pistol are a few people to listen too about the track. Little Rock is just as close to Hot Springs as Glenwood but is a way larger town.

i suggest lake degray. they have a lodge there as well, but they do have a very nice campground. about a half hour south of hot springs.
we ate at the porterhouse steak and seafood a few weeks back-very good!

I bet they'll set a new attenandce record for this one. Over 72,000 would be a new record or really close to it. On the day I went there was over 65,000 on Arkansas Derby Day. Oh and another thing get ready to pay over $30 to park anywhere near the track. I'd try and call a cab to get dropped off or have someone drop you off for sure. I'm out of vacation but I'm thinking I'm going to leave work the Weds before and stay with friends in Hot Springs. If any of you get shut out on tickets I hve a friend who has box seats. I'll ask him if they're available for me to hook some of you up.Seats 6 people on the 2nd floor near the Arkansas Sports Bar.
