Default Was trading Seymour really worth it?

17-10 lead at the mid=point of the 4th quarter ... the other team has the ball at their own 1 yard line and needs to go 99 yards in a game which could ultimately be the difference in getting a first round playoff bye week.

Virtually all of your best players are wounded ...

But hey! .. you got that nifty first round pick 2 years from now that will come when all of your current big name guys - except Mayo - are too old to matter anymore.

I realize it's a Raiders first round pick - so it will probably be a top 5 .. but that's a trade that's going to haunt you everytime you give up 2nd half leads to qb's like Mark Sanchez and Kyle Orton.

Im a die hard pats fan... I say it was worth it. Realisticly Brady needs time to get back... He is missing WIDE OPEN TARGETS. Lets say he takes a year to get back, that pick will be huge, its more then likely going to be a top 3 pick, we can turn that into many picks, or a big name D-tackle or wideout. Also I still think we are good enough this year, I was sure Baltimore was the team to beat "besides us" but they are clearly not that good, pitt is not the same and Indy does not scare me.

The problem is the quarterback has got that top shelf model p.ussy and he's lost the eye of the tiger.

I make that trade every single time and i bet belichick would do it again right now. A first round pick (likely top 5) for an aging lineman a year away from free agency that will play max 30 plays a game?

It looked to me New England's struggles were more on offense.

I will pay you cash to stop rooting for AZ. I've given up on the Knicks.

They scored 17 points and missed a 40 yarder in the easiest stadium in the NFL for kicking field goals.

Denver's 4 previous opponets this year scored 7, 6, 3, and 10.

Even though Brady missed some very easy throws and the offense is beat up injury wise right now ... it's the least of the Pats problems.

If you pin a team on their own 1 yard line with a 17-10 lead at the mid point of the 4th quarter ... the defense has to come up with a stop.

2nd straight year that NE lost a game in overtime where the offense never got a shot with the ball. Vince Wilfork stinks at calling the coin toss in clutch situations.

i'll give denver credit for holding cincinnati to 7 but do you really want to make the arguement that your offense wasn't an issue since they outscored cleveland, oakland, and dallas?

i'd say the fact the raider's managed a field goal proves denver's d is overrated.
