Default What is the "stretch" position in the form

I hate to say I don't know, but what is the location of the stretch call in the form. Is there a standard distance from the finish or is each track and distance different?

Thanks,

Spyder

"Stretch" can vary by distance being run...

Use the DRF "Points of Call" chart as reference:

Steve, I pasted this from my the DRF link above.

Stretch Call - 9-14. The horse was ninth, 14 lengths behind the leader at this point. The stretch call is always made one furlong (one-eighth of a mile) from the finish line

The other chart positions changed based on distance but the stretch call is always the same.

Got ya.. I assumed Spyd was looking for the differential(s) on late fractions.
