the trainer of racing legends Ruffian and Forego, and a legend himself, has passed away at age 93. my condolences to his family.

Heard about his passing on A.T.R yesterday coming home. He lived a full life and as Steve said a "trainer of the old school" and one that will forever be in the history books as all-time great.

Warms my heart to think of him and Ruffian perhaps being together again and him seeing her and saying "Hey there girl" with a friendly pat to the neck.
