![]() There is a first-time starter in the 4th at Belmont who can really run. Her name is Acquired Cat. I saw her work at the Ocala March sale. I really liked her. She should have a great chance today.

![]() I guess some of the clockers muct like this horse too. They've bet her down to 8-5 from her 9-2 morning line. I'm surprised they are running her on the grass. She's by Tactical cat and she worked great on the dirt.

![]() Good call....obviously the price sucked but she won easily.
I'm glad she won, as I wouldn't have said anything had she lost, but I was wondering the same thing you just posted. Why was she making her debut on the grass. You do not see that very often with horses the connections think can run. |

![]() Well, I was right about her. She won by 5 lengths but I guess the word had gotten out on her. They bet her down to 6-5 from her 9-2 morning line.
She was a real bargain at the Ocala sale. They only paid $85,000 for her. She was on my short list at that sale. |
